when it rains it pours, pt 3

so,
i left off on monday morning.
i'm going to break it down real simple.
-went to mary kay meeting monday night,
not because i wanted to,
but because i knew it would be encouraging to my business.
-heard the most amazing woman speak.
miss colleen shadley.
elite executive national sales director emeritus.
she was exactly what the doctor ordered.
after the meeting i shared with her about my loss.
she teared up with me & then told me about job.
funny, huh!
seemed to be the theme.
she encouraged me & told me to just keep on with my business.
-tuesday morning i went to babysit.
in a weak moment i texted again all those i was with on sunday.
i knew in my head they had looked & hadn't found it,
but i really wanted them to look again.
about twenty minutes later i got this text.
"WE FOUND IT!"
i almost passed out.
immediately the waterfall started,
yes while i was babysitting.
i couldn't contain myself & dial phone numbers fast enough.
hubby.
besa.
elaine.
mom.
whew.
it was found.
the LORD had my attention.
he is jealous for me.

so if you think that is the end of our week it wasn't.
things seemed to keep on, keeping on.
i can not count on all my fingers & toes how many injuries we had at football.
numerous fluke injuries.
then friday morning.
scottie & i went out at 5:45 am to head to the clinic.
but...
our car was gone.
no longer sitting in our parking spot,
& another car parked in our spot.
let me tell you,
the tears began to run instantaneously.
who would tow our car?
and why?
after many phone calls through sobs,
i figured out our car had been towed & it was going to cost some money to get it back.
some money,
a lot of money.
i got a ride to the clinic.
did my thing there & then had someone bring me to the tow place.
i say tow place,
because what it was i'm not quite sure.
probably the sketchiest thing i have seen in quite some time.
middle of desert,
a million miles away,
little house,
small driveway,
cars side by side with mirrors almost touching,
sketchy garage,
and lack of english speakers.
i paid my money & left.

i couldn't wait to fall in to bed on friday night.
this week was long & i couldn't wait for it to be done.
lessons learned & more memories for our little newlywed life!

I am so happy you found your bag...you must fee so relieved.
I am very sorry you were towed. I was towed last winter for a snow emergency when there was no snow fall, so I didn't know about it. I agree sketchy business and a little ruthless. I hope your week is going a lot better!
