In all the craziness of life and still not having internet I got behind on the list.
So I thought I would give a quick rundown on what we have accomplished and some may be addressed later on with much longer stories and pictures.
((I mean who can only say a few sentences about Disneyland!))
...
13. Detox my body
Well I accomplished this task and really didn't like it.
The detox I did was more of a cleanse, it was intended for my kidney and gall bladder.
Let's just say warm salt water, distilled water by the gallon and apple juice by the gallon are not my favorite things at this point & I'm not sure they will redeem themselves.
During this time I also prayed and fasted and just delt through some tough stuff.
I managed to climb over personal hurdles I never thought I couldand realized through the process these hurdles were more like walls I had to tear down and Break Free from.
Freedom feels great.
The Lord was faithful too.
Some of the things I dealt through were affirmed in my life by friends and circumstances.
I'm so thankful to serve a faithful Father and lover of my soul.

14. Make a cheescake.
I believe I crossed this off a while back, but couldn't find it in the blog anywhere.
I instead made mini cheesecakes for Scottie's birthday.
I don't like cheesecake, so I have no idea how they turned out.
Everyone who tried them loved them, so I guess that is a good sign.
I love this recepie and can't wait to use it again.
For those of you who have the Harvest Cookbook you can find it inside!
...
29. Scap oranges.
Orange groves are everywhere and I wanted oranges.
Who knew that they grew a plenty, and were wasted.
I noticed that the grove down the street let hundreds of oranges just fall off the tree and couldn't figure out why.
I picked an orange and tried it...it was delicious.
That is when I decided I wanted to scalp a few more.
I recall the story in the bible where Jesus and the disciples gleaned the wheat along the side of the road.
I felt this principle should be applied here to the oranges!
But seriously, no one picks the oranges from the trees nearest to the road.
While Natalie and Brandy were here we went to the orange grove and grabbed some delicious treats.
Since then I have only went back once to get a couple more, because now my neighbor has also been supplying them by the bagloads.
((Not buttloads Nicole and Heidi))

31. Go to Disneyland.
We went for FREE.
Well what more is there to say.
I will blog extensively about this day with the family.
I love Disney.
...
79. Fly a kite.
For Scottie's birthday my family purchased him a very nice kite to fulfill this item on the list.
We didn't know when or where we would be able to fly a kite, but thought it would be fun.
Mom had the great idea of bringing it to Newport Beach last week and seeing if there would be room to fly it.
We had more than enough space on the beach to fly it and the winds were upwards of 15mph.
Perfect flying weather.
To my surprise, Scottie had never flown a kite before.
I had wanted to put it on the list becasue it is fun because we flew them often when we were younger.
In one try we got the kite up and let it fly high into the sky.
It was fun passing it between Scottie and my brothers and making a memory.
We definitely will be bringing it again when we go to the beach.
I love to fly kites.
...
89. Threading our eyebrows.
So we didn't complete this exactly how I had planned.
Threading eyebrows is much cheaper out here in California than getting your eyebrows waxed.
So this was suppose to be a means of saving money.
Until...
I was kindly given a lead to some amazing at home body wax.
A friend from college shared about it on Facebook and we had to try it for the price.
It's called Body Sugar and you can get it at Ulta for only $12.
It will last you at least a year, and it is so easy.
I love it, my mom loves it, and well Scottie doesn't love to get waxed so he doesn't love it.
For $12 I can wax my eyebrows for the rest of the year.
The other great part is it is water soluble, so no sticky clean up.
AND, the cloth is re-usable.
What more can I say.
I found a better deal than threading!
...
Whew....
I'm all done catching you up.
We have a few other things on the list in process, but I don't want to share until they are complete.
Keep working on your lists and share things you have been doing.
Living Intentionally.

your list is very inspiring and i love your orange scalping story. i like the reasoning behind it too. keep it up taia. i enjoy your blog. it's very candid.
also, i like this newest font. it's easy on the eyes. while i love the cursive font (i use it for my headers) it's a little hard to decipher.
