what do you do to move on?
call a few family & friends to share the news,
but much of it was spent trying to deal with the remains of adrenaline.
i can not say it enough,
i am so thankful & proud that my man was able to use his skills in an intense situations.
as you sit through CPR class year after year,
it can sometimes become a joke.
your knees hurt,
your hands hurt,
you feel awkward counting out loud,
let alone breathing into a fake mouth.
S will attest to this,
but after years of training in these classes it was his second nature.
never once did he stop to think,
his mind & body were on autopilot.
30 to 2.
today we relaxed.
prayed for Leon continually,
and went to the mall.
we wanted to "do" or get something to remind him of yesterday.
we found ourselves in the "Build-a-Bear" store.....
and here is our journey!
we decided on this koala bear. he is still flat.

brian was with us and was able to capture these videos as he came to life.
our little heart ceremony.
bath time.
and then finding him his outfit.
oh. my.
meet maverick.
the daily reminder of the Leon.
the day that changed my husband forever.
the moments that we realize how precious every breath is.
the time we take for granted.
continue to lift leon, S, & lauj up in prayer.
for his health, famliy & friends.
for the continued debriefing of the event in their lives.
