friday night lights have ended for the braves.
losing is never easy.
winning seems effortless after the fact.
someone wins.
someone loses.
but those who do not win remember.
this will be a harder season to forget.
there were many players who were like younger brothers.
they shared their life,
their adversity,
their pain,
& many laughs.
my job has is an interesting role.
the relationship with athletes is not just a medical one.
you become their confidant & counselor & sometimes parent.
they look for advice & encouragement,
while also just wanting some
attention from someone who cares about them.
i love being a brave,
& could not be prouder of this years team.
they fought 'till the end.
thank you for letting me be a part of this season.
the year that the braves made history.
the biggest come back in school history.
what a jewel to wear proudly!!!
we are fighters.
& they were family on the field.
fighting for their brothers to win.
another season is over.
with bittersweet memories.
