little peanut // week 16

week: sixteen

fruit size of baby: avocado or baby guac, 4 to 5 inches

cravings: warm chocolate chip cookies & milk, rice, any thing cold to drink

aversions: wings, fried food, chicken tacos, strong smells

weight gain: not sure, but i think if anything i am finally at my normal weight.

exercise: i love it! worked out for the first time. 20 min jog on a treadmill with a light lift afterwards. it was amazing & baby did great. i was so encouraged that i was able to do what i did. last night took a walk with hubs & judah. each day is fabulous.

sleep: great. it has cooled down at night so snuggling in the comforter is wonderful.

belly: popping out a little more. when i lay down it doesn't go away now. nice and firm. yeah for my little baby bump.

clothes: put on my first pair or maternity jeans. who knew those things were so amazing? i have started putting on more clothes in my closet & embracing the bump. it is finally cooling down during the day so i'm excited.

movement: i thought i felt a flutter a few days ago. but nothing since then. so i don't know if it was real or not. looking forward to more!

gender: still don't know. hubs thinks baby is a girl. i think boy. one of us is right! we haven't changed our opinions at all.

names: still working on middle names & loving the first names we have picked out thus far.

worries: none at this point. all has been good up until now. God is good.

what i love: being outside. moving. loving my clothes again!

what i am looking forward to: movement.

milestones: running & lifting again.

best moment of the week: going out with my hubs & a player & his girlfriend this weekend.

amusing comments from the general public: everyone we have told from the trailblazers has been so excited for us & always asks questions & gives some sort of advice. the fact that they are all men makes me smile. glad my husband is working in a place where babies & family are still held in high regard.

baby mama drama: nothing? not sure if that is true, but i can't remember anything. ha.
