little peanut // week 23

week: twenty-three

fruit size of baby: a papaya.

cravings: food. cold treats. ice.

aversions: same. ((buffalo wild wings, mac n cheese, rice, chocolate))

weight gain: +10 lbs. not sure if anymore, i weigh in again this week.

exercise: been walking when i can, but since traveling to california i haven't done much planned exercise. just trying to keep up with my old life. lol.

sleep: good minus my excitement. i am finding that the more i look forward to something the harder it is to sleep. lets just say i can't wait for santa. ha.

belly: growing. a lot. no stretch marks yet.

clothes: need more leggings asap. i wear them all the time. trying to find shirts that fit this growing tummy.

movement: she is just busy. i accidentally amped her up on caffeine the other day & she went crazy for 30 minutes. i enjoyed the first 10 minutes, but then she made it hard to concentrate & talk at the same time.

gender: baby girl.

names: we have first names & i think a middle name to use with any of the first names. we have been sharing more & it has been fun to hear feedback. ultimately we will know when we see her & maybe even at that point she will get a whole different name!

worries: flying home. just a little twinge. i hate good byes. & on my flight down i had a weird experience, hoping it won't happen again.

what i love: sharing baby girl with all those i love in california. my heart is so full.

what i am looking forward to: tuesday. i fly home to be with my hubs again. i sure miss that man!

milestones: friends being able to feel baby girl kick & flip. so fun to share with everyone.

best moment of the week: all the moments with loved ones in california.

amusing comments from the general public: finally. i have a good one. a PTA at the clinic was convinced i was having a boy. even after i told her multiple times it was a girl. we had very good proof it was not a boy. she didn't stop. she continued to tell everyone that because i was "glowing" i was having a boy. needless to say, everyone was confused. it was hilarious. so baby girl, thanks for making your mama glow.

baby mama drama: nah. not much. just a little issue on my travel time down. we are healthy & safe though so not a big deal.
