week: twenty-six
fruit size of baby: eggplant. 10.5 inches, 2.2 lbs. can we quit repeating vegetables!? lol.
cravings: cheeseburgers. pho. sushi. frozen margarita. i should add that i only have satisfied one of these cravings. cheeseburgers. we haven't found a good pho or sushi place yet & no one we know here likes to eat either. also the frozen margarita, well i am just waiting.
aversions: buffalo wild wings. strong spice smells. but guess where we are going on sunday for the pack/Vikings game? yup. you guessed it. i will get back to you on the experience.
weight gain: +13 lbs.
exercise: three walks this week. i'm getting more committed again. also lifted one day with hubs. hope to only increase from here on out.
sleep: fabulous until last night. achy hips, low back, pelvis. i guess a saturday nap is in store.
belly: growing. growing growing.
clothes: amazing. my mama & papi sent me my christmas present early. a few new maternity shirts, leggings & a gorgeous black dress for all my mary kay stuff. all of it will grow with me until the big day! so excited for maternity clothes that are so cute.
movement: crazy active. but i love it. it has been the most amazing thing. yesterday hubs wanted her to move so he talked to her & nudged her to wake him up. he placed his head on my tummy and she kicked him in the ear. in which he returned the nudging. her kicks & punches are much more violent lately.
gender: baby girl.
names: we have first names & i think a middle name to use with any of the first names... we won't be naming her until we meet her. & even then the names may change.
worries: trying not to worry. i have been working on staying much more hydrated as well as eating more.
what i love: we are in the last week of the 2nd trimester. woo hoo.
what i am looking forward to: christmas. christmas lights. christmas music. christmas smells. christmas cookies. christmas everythings.
milestones: passing my glucose test with flying colors!!! can I get a hallelujah!
best moment of the week: every day this week has been great. hubs is "off" kind of. the team is on a 12 day road trip, so we have enjoyed just hanging out.
amusing comments from the general public: eh. nothing really. i don't know or can't remember, which is more likely the case. pregnancy brain?.
baby mama drama: just having some issues with my blood pressure, it is very low. i had another episode on sunday at church. we did call the midwife on call & she gave us some very good help & information to avoid such events in the future. so thankful i was not alone this time & hubs was there to talk me through it. baby girl is great & never seems to be effected. moves regularly & responds when we talk to her.
