oh sweet olive,
i could just eat you.
every morning when i wake early to feed you i fall deeper in love with you.
my heart skips a beat. i can't believe that YOU are MINE. 
i always roll over & ask papa if he can believe that you belong to us. 
he of course smiles & says yes. he is crazy about your face too.
we love your crazy spiky hair. it does whatever it wants.
when you are laying naked in your diaper you look like a baby gorilla.

i melt every time you make a face.
nana hears about every new face you make. always being excited with me.
she says that i look like you. this my baby girl makes me melt.
tears fall down my face when i think about this. YOU my little mamas are the first person to look like me. you are my only biologic family.
it is crazy. something that so many just assume - i am just first experiencing.
i love looking into your gorgeous big brown eyes & dreaming about what i looked like when i was your size.
i was still in an orphanage. i hadn't met nana & papi yet. but Jesus knew.
he knew that these moments were to come.
that i would be blessed with a little colombian princess just like nana & papi were.
i love when you scream at the top of your lungs the whole way home.
you are passionate & determined. beautiful qualities little one. 
i want to give you the world because i love you so much.
you are my little peanut. 
i can't wait for every moment to come & want to cherish & soak in all those that pass.
