No more Barnes & Noble. No more Borders. Not our own internet, but our new friends.
We are over at Ali & Melody’s apartment studying. Ali & Melody are married and moved here last year from England, and are originally from Iran. They are so wonderful and helpful. Our new friend Karissa is here to…. Karissa & Melody are second years in Scottie’s program. So the three of them are kind of studying, while Ali & I play on the internet.
Anyways, to the new keys.
Scottie & I are so blessed. The Lord is so good. He has provided in ways we had never imagined.
On Friday morning we were offered a part time position at a local high school as the Athletic Trainers! Yes! Our OWN training room. Our OWN keys. Our OWN teams. The position is for 2 months and then we will see after that. The ca$h money is phenomenal.
Can you say, Praise The Lord?! He is so good.
We worked our first game there on Friday night and people were thrilled to have us there. It really is an amazing opportunity and great school to start at. The whole school is in a rebuilding stage and a lot of redemption and reconciliation is being sought. We are excited to help pave the way for more Athletic Trainers.
Scottie was like a kid in a candy store. I wish I could have taken a picture and captured the moment. He was so precious.
But anyways, that is the newest development in our lives. May we simply glorify our Lord through this position and privilege. I can not express how blessed we feel, and how excited we are for this opportunity.
As always, we miss you and love you like crazy. I can’t wait to see your faces and come home to smell Christmas!
Praying for you and where the Lord has you. The season He has you in, and what He is edifying you to be. Join us as we pray for Sam Hendry. He is a dear brother and friend to us, and he has been given a once in a lifetime opportunity to play soccer in his home country of Korea. He flew out yesterday morning, and we can not wait to hear what the Lord has for him there. What an experience. We are praying for his health and ability to play soccer, learn about his home country, and shine for our Lord.
