my true Love.

Well after a very eventful weekend, we Scottie has jumped right in to an equally busy week. I am just the driver, and cheerleader in the stands! The question of the week has been, "How did we celebrate our first Valentines as newlyweds?" 
Against popular thoughts, it was very low key. Life for us is in a very interesting season ((not much money, Scottie is up to his chin in grad school, searching for a job)), so we make the best of what we have. I need to be making money and was offered a job on Sunday working two baseball games about an hour away. I was blessed that Scottie joined me and read in the sun by my side and we were able to be together all day. Since he is in the midst of school Monday was going to be quite demanding of him, so when we got home we took a short nap, got ready and went out for a cheap dinner. Applebees for drinks and wings. When we got home we went out to the spa and came back to watch a love story. Then on to bed because Monday was right around the corner. 
Thinking the day was going to be spent alone, I was happily surprised to know Scottie had a short break in the afternoon. We ran errands ((big deal because we don't get to do this anymore)) and got some Coldstone with a coupon!! It was special, because it was simply unexpected. THE BEST. Scottie went back to school and didn't get home until 10:30. We finished our movie from the night before, and headed to bed. 

Very simple. Very low key. Very special. 

I love my Valentine.

This week has been so wonderful. I have been blessed to talk to many of my loved ones. The whole family took turns on the phone on Monday. Heidi, Nicole, and Jess called me on speaker phone and we got to laugh. Jill and I had a quick late night chat while I was waiting for Scottie to get done working with a basketball game. Laura and Mer sent their loves through the internet because Australia, Wisconsin, and California have crazy time zones! This truly has been a very special week for me. I have been reminded of all those who love me in my life. 


Reminded last night by Scottie we have let to much time go by without crossing anything off our list. So with that in mind tonight when he gets home at 5:30 ((yes, dinner time and the evening together)) we will make dinner and read through the list. We hope to nail down a few to work on or accomplish this week!
