a quiet week

This is for all of you back in the winter wonderland of snow. I know some are thrilled to receive another blanket of snow, while many others wish it would all just come to an end soon. If you are one of the latter then this is for you...to help whisk you away from the un-fun snow creates in your life. Close your eyes and think happy thoughts. ((warm sand on your feet, crashing waves, and so on. you get the point)) Sadly, we are not enjoying the weather pictured above either. It has been colder here, and the rain is beginning to let up. I have enjoyed it to be quite honest. I love feeling the need to wear warm sweatshirts and layer and top it off with a scarf. These things I have not been able to enjoy since being home for the holidays. 
I am excited for all that has been happening in our lives in the past week or so. I can not wait to share it, but for the time being I am beginning an internet fast as well as a cleanse. I'm excited for all of the outcomes, and the unknown in what the Lord will be teaching me through this time! 
I will be lifting you up in prayer throughout this time, and am excited to be "quiet" in life. 


Oh, and to keep you hanging on.... 
we have been doing some crazy changes to the apartment and can not wait to share pictures!!!
