#79. Fly a kite.

It is crossed off the list.

I think I may have shared this previously, but just found the pictures.

I thought I would share a bit again.

We flew our awesome kite on Newport Beach.

Mom & my brothers were enjoying the day with us.

It was Scottie's first time flying a kite.

I loved it all.

If you haven't flown a kite in a while, it sure makes for a fun afternoon.

We can't wait to take it out again this summer at the beach.

#20. Re-create a date with my hubby.

I didn't take a picture because my camera was chilling in Santa Barbara.

We went on a date to Starbucks in Barnes & Noble. 

Our first time doing this was when we had just started dating.

Scottie bought me hot chocolate and we read christmas books.

This time we were barefoot

and it was warm out so we enjoyed a Frappuccino.

Instead of just reading one book we wandered around for an hour and just read random books.

I loved it.

What a pleasant afternoon & a fun time with my husband.

#30. Save up and buy an iPad.

We did it.

We did it.

We saved & saved & saved.

Over 5 months of saving and we were able to order it.

Not only did we wait that long 

((and of course save penny after penny)

we were able to order the new iPad.

Our iPad2 came in the mail on Friday.

It was ordered about a month ago and I was patiently waiting.

We love it.

We love it.

We love it.

Enjoying learning things.

Using it for school.

Of course having fun with it.

We simply love it.

Now on to saving for my next desire.

A camera!

#32. Set up the surround sound.
We have had our surround sound set up for about two weeks.
It simply was a blessing.
A very sweet friend of Scottie's from CBU offered it to us.
We couldn't say no.
He blessed us by just letting us have it.
Anyways, it is very nice & Scottie loves it.
He watches man movies loud.
Games loud.
He loves the booming and being in the "middle" of the action.
Thanks again to his friend.
We have been blessed beyond words while being in California.

#43. Re-arrange the apartment.
This was more by need than choice.
The surround sound demanded space in certain areas.
So I maneuvered things around and set up the book shelves in new places.
We love it though.
It is amazing what a little re-arranging can do for your home.
Now I'm looking for a very large area rug & neat coffee table.

#91. Teach a class somewhere.
Now both Scottie & I have taught at the high school level.
After this Thursday we both will have taught at the college level.
It has been such a great experience for the both of us.
I have fallen in love with teaching.
More for high school age than college.
Not sure what Scottie will think.
After teaching high school he already mentioned he may like college better.
All in all it is a much needed experience, and I think everyone should try it.
