i grew up here for most of my life.
in the woods.
nine miles from town.
fifteen minute drive to civilization.
mosquitos.
woodticks.
deer.
birds.
mmmmm.
home.
not remotely ready to leave this place.
my resting place.
someday i want to come back to stay.
i love northern minnesota.
with all my colombian heart.

also when did they build a shop building? is it down by the end of the driveway?
it's been too long... i think i have only seen the remodeled kitchen once or twice. yikes.
