a little overdue

for those of you who aren't aware,

well pretty much everyone,

i just wanted to catch you up on my school situation.

outside of a handful of people,

no one really knows what is going on,

well other than i am working on my master's...

well more like i was.

in mid-august i began to wonder if my schooling was really the right timing.

money was tight,

my schedule was slammed,

and i felt so loaded all the time.

like there was no moment that things were going to let up.

i began to evaluate things,

along with having a few to many "come to jesus" moments.

realizing a few things about my current status of life,

i decided to take this whole schooling thing to a list of pros/cons.

now don't get your panties in a knot,

i prayed a lot,

but this also seemed like a common sense thing.

the LORD did bless me with plenty of that.

after much deliberation,

one too many phone calls to departments of education,

in states such as

colorado, ohio, florida, minnesota, oklahoma, illinois, iowa, and so on.

i came to the conclusion that california teaching credentials & a masters really didn't mean much.

i say that lightly,

but ultimately i was looking at anywhere from $2000+ in transferring it to other states,

amongst numerous class requirements,

tests,

and short time frames.

on top of all that i looked at my class schedule for this semester,

and get this,

every class was during the time i was suppose to be working at norte vista.

well the light bulb came on,

all was clear,

my prayers were answered,

and so i made the decision,

to postpone my education a bit longer.

i honestly couldn't be more happier & am thankful that i did.

i can't imagine adding that to my current days that lack minutes,

as well as the homework & stuff that goes with it.

so for all of you who were wondering how APU was going,

well it's not!
