i'm flying s-o-l-o.
last night wasn't the same with out my hubby.
sure wish he was here to just be together.
so last night was interesting & quite the emotional roller coaster.
so many "big" decisions to make when it comes to injuries.
it is my j-o-b,
but to them it is their life.
their injuries remove them,
but i have to do the dirty work.
talking to them about it,
talking to the coaches,
and then hope that their position can be filled well.
the game started & we came out strong,
it was definitely the most adrenaline filled game yet.
sadly things did not continue & we didn't pull a W.
in the last quarter i had a big adrenaline rush.
possible fracture & a lot of decision making.
i'm getting more confident,
but always walk away re-evaluating every move i made,
every word i spoke,
& if i did my job to the best of my ability.
the LORD continual reminds me of his grace.
i was glad to hear the X-rays came back negative,
but still have to wonder ((until monday)) what possibly could be wrong.
hopefully nothing major & able to be rehabed quickly.
all in all friday night lights continues on & brings back memories,
while creating so many new ones.
i can't complain when it comes to my coaching staff & athletes.
although adversity in their life is daily & more than i have experienced in my lifetime,
they make me proud & persevere through everything!
"...home of the braves..."
they were featured on a local radio station wednesday night.
