i finished it.
between late last night & today after church,
it is completed.
i really like it & already planned to make another one.
i decided to use just the ivory felt for leaves.
thinking i may get another wreath & green yarn for the next one.
then using the deep red felt for those leaves.
overall it was an easy little craft.
patience is needed for the yarn wrapping.
it took a few times for me to figure out a process,
but once you do it goes smoothly.
i looped the yarn around my hand about 20 times & then would cut it.
using this smaller section to cover the wreath.
hot gluing every end.
then i just made a pattern for the leaves & got to cutting.
fiskars were fabulous for the felt.
i love my orange handled scissors.
after years of having to ask permission of my mama to use hers,
i purchased my own.
but not without using a 50% off coupon!
over all the wreath cost me....
wreath = free
yarn = $2
felt (2 pieces) = $.40
fiskars = $8
not bad if you ask me.
i can't wait to put it on my bright blue apartment door.
lol,
our apartment complex is a bit outdated,
my very helpful assistant. holding the wreath in the sun.
i borrowed him for a few minutes from his football.
happy? well you can figure that one out.
XO.

Haha. Oh husbands, the things they do for their lady loves. Turned out pretty and I like the contrast with the stucco wall.
so cute, nat! Can't wait to see your next one. Maybe Scottie can help you make it this time :)
