can i just share with you how much i love my church.
i love that they call it meeting jesus, when someone chooses a new life in him.
i adore their passion for community.
i can not fully explain how much i feel blessed every moment to be in a body of believers that just love Jesus so much.
so, so much.
the constant desire to serve,
to soak in the word,
& just to bless those around me has never been so alive.
i love that i am new in Jesus.
that i am nothing & he is everything.
that the bible is not just good advice but good news.
that jesus doesn't make us better, he makes us new.
& something else that i love, i get to serve along side my love.
yesterday we helped together with baptisms.
i just signed us up to be hosts.
whatever that means! lol.
i just wanted to be hands & feet.
our job was to "love".
easy job if you ask me.
but the even more beautiful thing about it was we go to do it together.
from the moment we got to church Jesus was working.
we had decided to sit. moments later we decided to give our chairs to a couple.
we stood a few feet behind up against the wall.
we worshiped. we listened. & then there was a time for baptisms.
as we stood there we watched this couple stand & go to the counseling stations.
they wanted to get baptized. they wanted to publicly declare their obedience to Jesus.
& we got to be their hosts!!!!
now how amazing is that.
not coincidence, but providence.
we got to serve together.
to love on another couple.
to be a part of their new legacy.
& to love Jesus with them.
have i told you.
i love jesus.
he daily is rocking my world.
& i love the man he gave me as a companion.
"he has made everything beautiful in its time"
ecclesiastes 3:11
