little peanut // week 14

well since i probably will want to read back on this
& haven't kept much record of anything pregnancy wise
i thought this might be a good place to start.
if it bores you,
no worries.
you can just skip such posts!
i just want to document for me.
for baby.
for our family.

week: fourteen

fruit size of baby: lemon, yum. that means 3 inches apparently.

cravings: food! the morning sickness is gone, i hope. i just want food all the time.

aversions: garlic, smells, red meat, certain vegetables, ice cream, sweet stuff, fried food.

weight gain: still down a pound or two from my normal weight. things will change i'm sure now that i love food again & am in my 2nd trimester.

exercise: haven't started a steady schedule yet, but i am excited to get moving once i kick this cold.

sleep: it has been fabulous. just one trip in the early am to pee.

belly: little. i can tell it is starting to be a bump. it feels like my abs are flexed below my belly button. grow baby grow.

clothes: still fitting. got a belly band from target & loving it with my jeans. makes me actual feel prego.

movement: nothing yet. i keep hoping soon though.

gender: still don't know. hubs thinks baby is a girl. i think boy. one of us is right!

names: we have them picked out, but are still open to others. working on middle names still.

worries: none at this point. all has been good up until now. God is good.

what i love: the hubs kissing & talking to baby & watching him get excited. little baby things. the excitement surrounding things.

what i am looking forward to: movement. plain & simple.

milestones: no nausea!

best moment of the week: hearing baby's heartbeat & kicks at our midwife appointment. hubs thinks we have a gymnast in there. a girl. who is going to win gold at the olympics. lol. he has plans.

amusing comments from the general public: nothing. no bump. no one knows. i'm sure this will get more exciting as things progress.

baby mama drama: i want a long island. it is weird. i don't drink them often, usually only on special occasions. but i crave them now. some raw sushi would be nice. oh & the hormones. they are insane. i'm sure the hubs would say the tears. they are intense & so out of the blue over the weirdest of things. help?! lol.

I felt Abby a few times around weeks 14-16, but not consistently until closer to 20.
I did a photo book after Abby was born with my pregnancy posts & photos, along with my post about her birth & going home. It's fun to be able to look back & see exactly what it was like then!

Oooh! I can't wait to find out what you're having! Are you going to share names?? I felt Greyer kick consistently around week 20 but probably felt him even before that... it's weird at first because it kind of feels like a grumbling stomach at first rather than jabbing movements. Also, I cannot believe you are down from your regular weight... when I was 14 weeks, I'd gained 14 pounds... YEAH...
