little peanut // week 25

week: twenty-five

fruit size of baby: eggplant. 9.5 inches, 2 lbs.

cravings: cheeseburgers. pho. sushi. frozen margarita.

aversions: buffalo wild wings. strong spice smells.

weight gain: +12 lbs. maybe a little more.

exercise: just consciously more then normal. walked on the treadmill one day this week. the rain sure kills motivation. i am trying to figure out a new routine.

sleep: fabulous. love sleeping. i do get pretty tired if i am on the go all day, but normally no need for a set nap.

belly: growing. apparently hubs has noticed more lately.

clothes: invested in an insulated pair of leggings & a maternity tee. definitely helping & realizing i am almost to the point of not being able to wear some of my clothes.....they won't stretch much more.

movement: baby girl is moving. when she gets going you can see my tummy move too. it is super exciting to watch. i've noticed that if i am moving a lot during the day she isn't quite as active....but if i'm at home just hanging out she becomes a bit more active and crazy.

gender: baby girl.

names: we have first names & i think a middle name to use with any of the first names.

worries: gaining weight. seems to be the theme. apparently not eating enough for the 2 of us, so trying to keep on putting healthy food into my mouth.

what i love: looking pregnant. being 6 months. that seems like so long.

what i am looking forward to: christmas. lol. hasn't changed. oh & a special christmas outing on sunday! can not wait to share.

milestones: baby moving. flying safely. sleeping well. gaining some weight. hubs feeling baby move.

best moment of the week: spending some girl time with Mary. we rocked the public transit system in portland. shopped a little & just explored.

amusing comments from the general public: after some baby talk a woman said, "i couldn't figure out if you were pregnant or just carrying some extra weight in the front." mmmm thanks friend. lol. it also was a day i consciously dressed my bump to look prego.

baby mama drama: cried a lot over our first working thanksgiving. also that we couldn't be with those we love. i pretty much can chalk that one up to homesick on crack.
