week: seventeen
fruit size of baby: turnip, hubs doesn't like this one very much. he hates turnips. so we pretended it wasn't a turnip & just focused on my uterus being the size of a cantaloupe.
cravings: food. truly a home cooked meal sounds good every day. my mama's cooking.
aversions: buffalo wild wings. my hubs is heartbroken. the smell makes me gag. i love the environment, but without the wings...why go?
weight gain: +4 pounds. the midwife was happy to see that baby is growing well.
exercise: ran 4 miles this week & did some light weight lifting & band work a few other days. the goal for week 18 is running 3 days. so we will see!
sleep: good.
belly: i don't think it has changed, but hubs thinks he can tell a bit of a difference. the biggest change is in the morning the baby will be pushed to one side ((i sleep on my sides)). i love this because hubs can "hold" baby in the morning before baby moves away.
clothes: i have been wearing more things & purchased a maternity tank that i like a lot. so things are going better, ha. i worked mary kay twice this week, so wore my business attire & actually loved getting dressed up & showing my little bump.
movement: nothing more than the morning bump.
gender: still not sure, but October 24th is gender reveal day! our ultrasound is scheduled & hubs can not wait.
names: still working on middle names & loving the first names we have picked out thus far.
worries: just eating enough & not packing on unnecessary pounds. seems to be a thin line to walk.
what i love: the mornings feeling baby's bump. reading to baby at night. getting a running high while pregnant. best feeling ever.
what i am looking forward to: movement. and a bigger bump.
milestones: running mileS!
best moment of the week: not baby related, but getting back into my Mary Kay business. it is truly the opportunity of the century!!!
amusing comments from the general public: nada.
baby mama drama: nothing that i recall.

I could think of a pretty good middle name if it were a boy...wink wink
